Shri Mahalasa Narayani's temple at Basrur
is situated on the banks of River Varahi.
Basrur, once a prominent trading town,
is about 10 km from Kundapura town,
in coastal Udupi district of Karnataka.

This temple is believed to be at least
500 years old
and a replica of Shri Mahalasa Narayani
temple at Mardol, Goa.


AARATI TIMINGS:
Daily: 12:00 pm & 7:30 pm
Sundays: 1:00 pm & 7:00 pm
(Anna Santarpana at 1:15 pm & Bhajan Seva from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sundays.)
Note: Temple remains closed from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm to 7:00 am
